I was approached by Lady Bay festival to run a series of digital video workshops in the Rushcliffe area, and to work alongside pupils at Rushcliffe school to create a short digital film.

‘Opposite’ explores the identities of young people from Rushcliffe School through movement and colours. Showing contrast between the brightly coloured signs of authority that litter our buildings, streets and cities – with the joys of play, experimentation and performance.

As a group we captured reflections, movements, shadows, colours and objects – as well as creating our own tributes and titles to the festival. We hope this film gives an insight to some of the identities that exist in the Lady Bay and Rushcliffe area, and most importantly the creative personalities of the young people who took part in the project.
