Afternoon workshop 2pm – 5pm

We are inviting around 100 young people to participate in our free kite making workshop and design their very own symbol of hope for the future. As part of Nottingham Playhouse’s The Kite Runner (26 April – 18 May) production we will be presenting artworks in and around the main building of the Nottingham Playhouse as part of the Freedom in Air exhibition 26 April – 25 May.

Artists – Rhiannon Slade, Gavin Rogers and Martha Glazzard will deliver the workshops. Rhiannon Slade will also be collecting the stories and thoughts of the next generation and document their hopes and aspirations for the future.

All attendees must return the following ***permission slip*** by the 26 March before they are able to engage with the workshop.
