Having lived in a small town from the majority of my life. Moving to a city was a daunting experience. I had less than a week to find somewhere to live. Frantically scanning the property pages of the local newspaper and dashing around local estate agents, I became confronted by the realities of life within the inner city, which was far removed from my original perceptions of city life – my dreams, aspirations, morals, ideals.
Overtime this loss of perception was replaced by hope. Hope for my city, hope for my neighbour, hope for myself.
