Armed with his new Environment Agency fishing licence Gavin Rogers will be exploring fishing and well-being along birmingham’s canals. Working with moving image, water and local fishermen they will share practices, stories and skills.
In April he will be meeting up with local fishermen along the canals, including his dad, to refresh his fishing skills and catch up with the latest fish-based gossip.
The project starts in May when the fishing season has begun and over the summer he will work with groups to make a digital videos, with a public event over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
